Can my order be shipped to a repair facility?

Yes, you can choose to have your purchase shipped to your residence, business, or repair facility. If the shipment receiver is someone other than yourself, ensure to list the person's name and address in your order. Liftgates are available upon request, for no charge, but you must request a lift gate by checking the appropriate box during the checkout process. 

Does the warranty covers labor cost?

No, due to the nature of used auto parts, any liability of Aautoparts.us from all causes shall be limited to the price paid for the parts that were sold or provided. If the part is defective, My Auto Store liability will be limited to the replacement of the part or remedy that does not exceed the price paid for at Aautoparts.us.

Is a VIN required to purchase parts on the website?

 A 17 digit VIN is required on all power train purchases. This will ensure proper part compatibility and activate the warranty. Without a proper VIN, the warranty stands void.

Are the parts sold guaranteed to match my vehicle's color?

No, we do not guarantee the actual color of products as colors will vary. Our inventory is made up entirely of quality used OEM products guaranteed for fit and functionality. Painting of this part by a qualified professional is recommended to match the exact color variation of your vehicle. Returns cannot be made based on non-matching color, or if the color has been altered after acceptance of delivery.

If I buy a used engine or transmission, are they "drop-in" ready?

Not always. We are selling the long block, cylinder heads, and internally lubricated parts. Engines may come with other parts attached, depending on the source, which may or may not have to be removed before installation in your vehicle.   

What is included with an Engine?

The

engine block, cylinder heads, head gasket, and all internally lubricated parts. Instructions must be followed for proper installation and to avail warranty. 

What is included with a Transmission?

The transmission case, valve body, tail shaft, and housing, torque converter (automatic only), and all internally lubricated parts. Instructions must be followed for proper installation and to avail warranty.

What is a Core Charge?

On top of the listed price for the product, many suppliers will charge an additional amount known as "Core Charge" or “Core Price” on certain parts such as power train parts (engines, transmissions, and axles) and aluminum wheels. 

What is a your return policy?

Returnable parts are subject to acceptance by My Auto Store and must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. My Auto store is not responsible for a buyer’s error.

How do you handle the manufacturer's warranty?

All merchandise warranties are subject to the Manufacturer’s Warranty and Restrictions. In most cases, we are authorized by the manufacturer to handle or assist with warranty claims directly. Warranty claims will cover replacement or repair of the parts only and will not cover labor/installation charges, damages, or shipping charges.  

What about credit card security and my online transactions?

Aautoparts is only integrated with PCI-DSS compliant payment methods and gateways. PCI-DSS compliance refers to the technical and operational standards that we follow to secure and protect your credit card data and transactions. We DONOT store credit card information in our system.
